Anmerkungen aus Sicht der Pflegewissenschaft

Mit einer Charta der Patientenrechte will die Bundesregierung bis spätestens Anfang 2003 die Stellung von Patienten verbessern. Die Charta befasst sich mit dem Verhältnis des Patienten zum Arzt und zu den Institutionen, im Behandlungs- und im Schadensfall. Es ist das Ziel der Bundesregierung, die Eigenverantwortung der Patienten zu erhöhen. Zu diesem Zweck muss ein Patient als autonom, informiert und mitgestaltungsfähig anerkannt werden.
